Restaurants in Santiago
As the capital of Galicia, the city of Santiago is the maximum exponent of Galician gastronomy, in which top-quality fish, shellfish and meat reflect the fine produce that Galicia posses and which Santiago presents.
Since the “Pousadas de Compostela” brand opened its first business more than 10 years ago, it has gradually acquired more hotel establishments, being one of the brands offering the
greatest number of beds in Santiago de Compostela’s historic city centre.
Despite the odd foray into the restaurant industry, these were always located in our hotels, being more a service for our clients than a separate business strategy.
Faithful to our philosophy, encompassing friendly treatment, excellent location and respect for artistic-historic heritage, in 2010 “Pousadas de Compostela” ventured to establish a new
line of business in the restaurant industry, remaining faithful, naturally, to our region’s products and its culinary heritage to our clients’ delight.
Incorporated into “Pousadas de Compostela” in 2010, thisrestaurant is the most ambitious initiative in the Restaurant section. Located in Rúa do Franco, where pilgrims, visitors and
residents contemplate in its windows the best farm and sea produce of Galician gastronomy.

Located in the centre of the emblematic Rúa do Franco, the gastronomic street par excellence, a faithful witness of the passing of time and of the pilgrims arriving in Compostela after travelling along the Way of St. James.
