Come to light drawings of the Aciveiro's Monastery that made Castelao
Did you know that the Galician intellectual Castelao did in his day numerous drawings Monastery Monastery Aciveiro -today hotel managed by Pousadas de Compostela and just come to light?
Pontevedra Museum has just opened an exhibition on Castelao where you can see three of his unpublished drawings so far, in which the Galician intellectual reflected how the monastery was in the 20's.
This is a drawing with an overview of the Monastery (pictured), one of the entrance, where you can see the facade of the Church, and the third drawing is the detail of one of the Romanesque arches that make up the triad of Aciveiro.
They can be seen until September
The works are part of an exhibition entitled Pontevedra Meu! Castelao 1916-1936, with the arrival of galeguista to commemorate Pontevedra in January 1916 to fill the space funcionaro Statistics.
