The restaurant Porta Faxeira is the last incorporation to the gastronomic bid of Pousadas de Compostela. Sited in the emblematic rúa do Franco, our menu is a perfect coexistence of traditional and nouvelle cuisine dishes.

The main protagonists of our menu are the best fresh fishes and shellfish of the Galician estuaries and the exceptional meat of our land. And all this orchestrated under the special touch of our chef, Daniel Novo, prizewinner of the Tenedor de Oro (Golden Fork) for his perfect gastronomic work in our Hotel Monumento Pazo de Lestrove.

To remain faithful to the philosophy of our company, we have made a great remodeling of the restaurant, in order to create a nice and cozy space. Our clients will enjoy the excellent installations, consisting of splendid private dining rooms with capacity for 200 people and a garden terrace with wonderful views to the Cathedral.
