Lodged in a large house built in the
XVIII
century on the ruins of a Renaissance buiding, Airas Nunes Hotel is finely
situated in the millennial heart of Compostela: the intimate "Burgo
Miluorum"; in which the urban development of the town was initiated in the
IX century, close to the Apostle's tomb, and which has been known under the name
of Rúa Do Vilar since the Middle Ages.

| Situated seventy steps from the zero
kilometre, meeting point of the "jacobeos" roads from all over
Europe, Airas Nunes Hotel has splendid views over the Cathedral's towers,
the roofs, the galleries and the haughty chimneys of the palaces, in
surroundings which invite quiet romantic walks through the granite forest
of tipes and arcades. Here, mixed with the deep toll of the berenguela
tower's bell, ring the echo of the footsteps of imnumerable pilgrims who,
moved by their faith, came to Santiago de Compostela through the centuries.
